Tobias is a scientist turned executive with a track record of transforming complex ideas into scalable life science solutions. Prior to joining Thrive 365 Labs as the Vice President of Operations, he founded and led Gregor Diagnostics as CEO and CTO. Gregor was a company focused on the development of prostate cancer diagnostics, raising over $15m in venture capital from Green Park & Golf Ventures, WARF, First Round Capital, and several angel investors. Tobias also joined Exact Sciences when it was 13 people and served as a member of the team that developed and launched Cologuard®, an at-home screening test for colorectal cancer.
He brings a rare blend of technical depth, business acumen, and leadership that consistently delivers high-impact results. He holds a BS in Biochemistry and Genetics and an MS in Biotechnology both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. And was raised on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in Manitowoc, WI. Outside of professional endeavors, Tobias enjoys a quiet, simple life reading, cooking, working out, cheering on the Wisconsin sports teams, and socializing with friends and family.
