Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise working with regulatory and accrediting bodies, including those governing both clinical and research laboratories, and has successfully led initiatives to establish, scale, and optimize laboratory operations and quality management systems.
She has a proven track record of building high-performing lab environments, implementing robust compliance frameworks, and driving continuous quality improvement across complex organizations. Doris is particularly passionate about bridging the gap between innovation and clinical application, helping to bring emerging technologies into the healthcare space to better equip physicians and deliver more precise, data-driven care for patients.
Doris is a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist and holds a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), as well as a Molecular Biology (MB) certification through ASCP. She has broad expertise across general laboratory disciplines and holds a specialist certification in Molecular Biology and Genetics.
She has earned multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD, Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc), and Master of Science (MS), further underscoring her depth of knowledge and commitment to the field. Doris is also currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare to continue expanding her leadership capabilities at the intersection of clinical operations, compliance, and strategic growth.
